Claude Code skills that run PMM work

Ten skills across messaging, positioning, VOC synthesis, launches, and enablement. Install in 10 minutes. Free whether you work with me or not. Use them against your real work today. Not a sandbox.

Why these are different

Not ChatGPT prompts in a README.

Built for PMMs, not generalists

Every skill encodes the stuff PMMs actually deal with. Stakeholder buy-in, messaging by committee, sales enablement, connecting copy to pipeline. Not generic marketing advice re-prompted.

Every skill ships an artifact

A scored report. A ranked set of variants. A battle card. Not “here's what to think about.” PMMs don't need more frameworks. They need outputs they can put in front of a CEO.

Evidence-based, not opinion

These skills crawl real assets, score them against your specific ICP, and produce recommendations that change based on your situation. Not a template. Your context in, your artifact out.

What's in the repo

Ten skills. Three tiers. One repo.

Each skill works standalone. But they compound when chained. The output of one becomes the input of the next. Start at Tier 1 or jump to whichever tier solves the problem on your desk today.

01

Foundation

Know your buyer. Nail your positioning. Build the messaging stack.

/icp-definition

Build a layered ICP across firmographic, behavioral, psychographic, and language dimensions. Plus anti-ICP signals.

/positioning-audit

Define and score positioning across 5 dimensions. Flag positioning debt. Identify white space.

/messaging-hierarchy

Build a 5-layer messaging stack from POV to features, with quality tests at each layer and a 60-second pitch.

02

Intelligence

Synthesize the voice. Weaponize the competitive intel. Test what converts.

/voc-synthesis

Turn transcripts, surveys, reviews, and CRM notes into a frequency-weighted Buyer Brain with echo language and contradiction maps.

/competitive-landing-page

Generate production-ready “You vs. Competitor” landing pages with real review quotes and 13 conversion-optimized sections.

/message-market-fit

Audit messaging against real buyer pains across 5 pillars. Generate variants. Run a 3-week multi-channel test. Declare a winner.

03

Activation

Ship the artifacts. Arm the team. Close the loop.

/launch-brief

Generate a launch brief from positioning + messaging inputs. Channels, timeline, assets, and owners.

/battle-card

Build competitive battle cards your sales team will actually use. Objections, proof points, trap questions.

/sales-narrative

Turn your messaging hierarchy into a sales narrative with talk tracks, discovery questions, and email sequences.

/feature-announcement

Turn release notes into a multi-channel announcement package. Blog, email, social, in-product, changelog. Creates demand, not just awareness.

Install

Ten minutes, four steps.

01

Install Claude Code

If you don't already have it: npm install -g @anthropic/claude-code. Then run claude in your project directory.

02

Add the skills

One command pulls every skill into your .claude/skills/ folder. You can install all tiers or just one.

# All skills
npx skills add Fearofsnakes/pmm-skillset

# Or just one
npx skills add Fearofsnakes/pmm-skillset --skill message-market-fit
03

Write your CLAUDE.md

Every skill reads your CLAUDE.md for context. Product, ICP, positioning, voice. Weak file = weak outputs. Strong file = skills run like a PMM who's been at your company for six months. Template in the repo.

# Grab the template
curl -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Fearofsnakes/pmm-skillset/main/CLAUDE.md.template
mv CLAUDE.md.template CLAUDE.md
04

Run one

In Claude Code, type the slash-command for any skill. It pulls your context, asks what it needs, and ships an artifact you can put in front of a stakeholder.

/message-market-fit
Stay in the loop

If you want more than a skill

Skills are the tools. The Sprint is the system.

Run a skill tonight, feel the cheat code. When you're ready to turn a collection of skills into an Employee Zero that runs your PMM work, that's the Sprint.
